Day 161

Well today we've been on a total come down after yesterday's festivities of Coldplay. Although being able to sleep in until 10am due to H being at the in laws certainly helped us recover!

We have been thoroughly lazy for most of the day today, which to be honest has been fantastic! H had a birthday party at 3pm so we decided to take advantage of the sun being out and walked there - the old railway lines run from our village, Greenmount, into Bury, but for years have only been open part of the way. Finally they have decided to open the whole thing, so now you can walk the full length of it. We did 2 miles of it to the party (H cycled) but then we had to get a taxi home afterwards as the rain started! This is one of my favourite views on the walk of Island Lodge.

Home now for an evening of catching up on the photos I took yesterday whilst Matt watches the football.
