Petting Farm

I had been disappointed at the Agricultural Show not to see any goats to photograph. Out of the hundreds of images we have on cards the only thing one customer wanted was a milking goat. Well, I don't know whether Billy here would have made a sale but at least he is from a breed of goats reared for their milk: we think is a Toggenburg. A Swiss breed.

EDIT: Kindly, biblinros tells me it isn't this variety. I will ask next time I go!


So, it has been a day for getting out and getting jobs done so while I was waiting for my Mammogram appointment (just the three-yearly one now) we visited a garden centre for the first time and found they had a children's farm section. Great!
