Getting home ... Batten down the hatches

Well that typhoon (Linfa) round the corner got a bit too close to HK and had everyone in a slight panic! This picture was taken in Central underground at 4pm and the crowds were building as offices closed and had to send all employees home as T8 (typhoon signal strength!) was issued around 3:45pm. I was in town and raced back to catch a ferry home.

Martin met up with me and we had to wait for the next ferry as the one we were lining up for got full ... first time we've experienced that.

Got home safely and surprisingly the typhoon never really materialised, some slight rain, the windows got wet, we didn't hear a thing. A rather non-event. Grateful that no one was effected, HK was spared this time.
