Sudden Storm

The evening light was looking good so I walked along the esplanade at East  Cowes to see what would transpire. Some thundery showers had been forecast and just as I was some distance from the car a sudden storm passed overhead with some very heavy rain catching out many walkers and yachtsmen.
Fortunately I was able to shelter under the veranda of a beach hut keeping dry whilst the storm passed through. The people on the yacht heading into Cowes probably got quite wet.
