Abstract Thursday 4

Despite being very short of spare time today I was keen to have a crack at Abstract Thursday hosted for July only  by youoregon1.  The basis of this image is a spoon on a sheet  of stripy wrapping paper: the original shows the stripes reflected in the underside of the spoon.  This didn't look all that 'abstract'  so I used Photoshop to add 2 effects: ocean ripple and distort.  I am reasonably pleased with the resulting swirl of colour.  Fun to do and looking forward to trying again next week.
Posting this on Friday morning as we had (delightful) guests for dinner last night: a great catch up evening and a few glasses of wine (!) meant that  I was too tired to put this up around midnight so backblip it is.
