Cheerful

We had a boomer of a frost early this morning. I foolishly gave in to Fergus's pleading eyes and wagging tail and allowed him to come to the gym with me. He patiently waited as usual in the back of the SUV while I did my workout and showered. Although he has his blankets in the vehicle he was shivering with cold when I returned. Poor boy! So if we have a heavy frost tomorrow morning he will be staying at home.
The day warmed up a little during the afternoon allowing me to spend two or three hours gardening. I have lots of polyanthuses to plant and they have given me the incentive to do some drastic tidying in order to make room for them. These cheerful yellow and purple plants are patiently waiting to be placed in their new homes.
