Clumps near Fyvie

Day one of what proved to be an 8-day spell of no telephone and no broadband. The BT engineer who finally fixed it told me it was thanks to his colleagues who had been splicing new bits of cable into the line up our road to replace sections that were damaged by lightening a few weeks earlier - he reckoned they had made more than the usual number of errors in splicing the correct pairs of wires at each junction.

Anyway, here we see a range of tree clumps on a ridge between Folla Rule and Fyvie, close to Mill of Burns, evoking thoughts of Paul Nash and Wittenham Clumps...
