Considering how much of this mud has been scrubbed off (and inadvertently ingested by) him I was a bit surprised he wasn't a bit more sad to be leaving it. He exhibited a little nervousness over the past few days which seemed to be more leaving-nursery than starting-school, though not as much as one would think considering he's been here almost every week since he was almost nine months old. He'll still get to see it (and the teachers) when he comes to help collect his wee brother, but will presumably soon be just as enthralled by the equal possibilities for becoming enmucked available at school.
