Felbrigg Hall

BB is on a technology ban, so TT took him to the play park in the village this morning.  I wandered along later and found them playing football.  We eventually managed to drag BB home and we all headed to Felbrigg Hall – an interesting country house in the care of the National Trust.  It has great gardens and grounds.

We decided to go round the house.  BB was given a task to find a number of objects in every room which kept him occupied and engaged. After lunch we visited the wonderful walled garden.  I could have wandered round all afternoon admiring the flowers and allotments.  BB found a shady spot and read his book.  It’s becoming a habit!

After exploring the garden we walked to Felbrigg Church and went for a walk on the estate round by the lake.

Another lovely day in the sun!

Here’s a view of the doocot in the walled garden, with an extra of BB reading!
