Getting Ready

A very hot day, with a brisk wind.

Today instead of coffee we decided we would go for a drink and tapa.   So we had a walk down the prom first and I took a photo of the youngsters getting ready for windsurfing.   They also hire out ordinary surfboards and bicycles here.

Once we were settled in a bar, a Dutch lady, who has been coming to the resort for many years, joined us for a drink.   We had a lovely couple of hours chatting about life here, she is on her own since her husband died.    She was saying she knows more people here than back in Holland as she has just had to move house, but is joining lots of groups there.

It is a very close knit community here, and easy to join in activities if you are single.
