Basil on the Bed

Why does there always seem to be so much admin to do? It keeps me at my computer in the spare bedroom, where Basil likes to join me by jumping up on the bed.

This morning, as you can see from the photo, he was totally relaxed, lying in the sun. He's looking rather unkempt at the moment. Haircut due in two weeks.

I finally phoned the insurance company to report the loss of my lens, as I've not had any word that it's been recovered.  

All kudos to Steve of Cameraworld who found a duplicate of the receipt for me to forward for the claim. Even more miraculous since the company has changed its accounting systems since the Photography Show in March.

Basil finally descended from the bed to join me for one last search in Jubilee Wood late this afternoon.
