Caged

One glorious beast now sits upon the stump. 

Steve the carver left on a little while ago so there's been many hours work on detailing, sanding and finally oiling.  We're impatient for the scaffolding to come down now, though I so want to get up there for some close-up shots and to just run my hands over it (before that's impossible) that my fear of heights might just get overridden.
