Ping-Pong In The Park.

Over the past 2 years, 'The Ping Initiative' has installed 21 Ping-Pong tables at popular locations around Cambridge. The tables are there, free, for everybody to enjoy. Just pick up a bat and ball from the side of the table and get playing. A 'table minder' is nearby to replenish bats and balls as needed. This is one of the two situated on Christ's Pieces in the city centre and is a popular location.  PING is a national campaign funded by Sport of England. It's purpose is to get people playing sport and help them to connect to the city's green spaces. I used to play reasonably well when younger but I haven't tried these out yet.
