You Can't Spell Abstract...

...without  S T R A  C A T.

I was laying in bed this morning and the idea of mirrors popped into my head. Mirrors for an abstract. Yes! I have not done that yet.
So I get out of bed and into the bedroom comes Layne with a wee kitten on her shoulder! An hour later we are on our way to the County Animal Shelter, with two kittens.

What happened was, three kitties and the mom were under our patio deck and we do not know anything more than that. One might say good timing or bad timing, since we said goodbye to our dear Elliott just a few weeks ago.

The shelter had a 90% save rate last year! and these 4-5 week old guys are sure to find some people to adopt, very soon. And if we can get the third kitty, there just may be a reunion at the shelter. While we were there, waiting for paperwork and our cat carrier to be returned, we wandered the hallways briefly.

And there was the mirror, and some abstract cats.

Love in the extras. And please tag your abstracts for this ongoing Thursday Challenge, AT18.
(Next week, November 5 will be AT19)
