Evolution in action

One of my sweet peas seems to have developed a new mutation which should prove to be most efficacious. After untold millennia of dispersing their seeds by flinging them away mechanically, when the pods ripen and burst, this one seems to have opted for aerial dispersal and has developed winged seeds! Feathers are the future!
