A day of to-ing and fro-ing today!
From school I went to Mrs L's. It was so good to see her - it's been ages!
We popped to TKMaxx in Banbury for a few essentials - a new lamp (Mrs L), a jam and preserve book (Me) and some presents for little boys, daughters and husbands (both of us!!)
Then it was back to hers for tea and chat.
When she went to get Mr T from nursery I resisted the urge to stay all afternoon for more tea and chat but headed home for a couple of hours half hearted tidying and sorting before heading to get the Little Misses and heading back to Banbury for gymnastics.
Miss L and I had a lovely hour in the car reading and sliding down the back  of the seats and then we went to meet Mr K in McDonalds car park.
He took them in to eat and I headed to Milton Keynes for dinner with Mrs Z and Mr K.
Having been woken up by Miss L at 5.30am I was feeling pretty sleepy by the time I got there!
But the dinner conversation about death and funerals and palliative care soon perked me up!!!
Ha ha!!!
It was fantastic to see them both as ever and dinner was scrummy. What Mrs Z can't do with a pot of mushroom sauce!!!
As usual I stayed too late and was more than ready for my bed when I got in. I mumbled goodnight to Mr K and headed straight off!
