Paris

We bought these two mugs back in 1982 on our first visit to Paris.  I fell in love with the city, and have visited many times.  

As the news came in this morning of the scale of the attacks last night, I looked at these on my dining room dresser, and thought "Moi et Toi" - Me and You = togetherness. Praying for all those involved, the bereaved, the wounded, families torn apart, those who survived and reliving the trauma, the emergency services, and armed forces, the hospital staff, politicians, the list goes on.  

And this wasn't the only awful attack, Beirut and Baghdad are also mourning. These events are affecting the whole world. 

We drove past The Hydro this evening.  Illuminated in red, white and blue.
