Quiet Moment

I worked on this painting today in open studio. It is really very different from the original that I am reworking. This is one of the series I am creating from some paintings I did 2007-2009. I am really enjoying the transformations of each one. I am still in the middle on this one. I know there is more to do but you can see if you take the link, how far this already is from the original.

I am so impressed with the work of my fellow painters. It is great to see how much all of our work has grown. To be honest, I believe we are all becoming really good and accomplished painters (If I do say so myself).
