Demonstration

Labour's chosen business for their debate in the Parliament today was Cal Mac and the current tendering process for the West Coast ferry routes.

The unions held a lobby outside the Parliament at lunchtime and I was pleased to join them to demonstrate my view that the contract should be awarded to Cal Mac.

I spoke in the debate this afternoon making the same point and some others of particular relevance to my constituents in communities across Argyll & Bute who are more dependent on lifeline ferry services than most elsewhere.
