The most popular man in the house

Huw dis-assembling a shoulder of lamb for two different Chinese dishes: steamed with the thinnest of vellum-like pancakes, and grilled on skewers with aubergine and celery.. The final spread can be seen in the extras together with a heavenly cheesecake made by Gwyn, using cream cheese salvaged from a skip and  frozen whinberries  picked in the summer.

Apologies for posting yet more images of edibles but with two such accomplished cooks in the family  a food-fest is inevitable when we get together. 
(The animals say But we are still waiting for ours!)
