A Day Worth Recording

Frustrating day catching up on paperwork and so on indoors when it was a decent sunny day outside. Escaped for a bit of a walk before the sun finally disappeared and I took the camera.

This part of Cambridge used to have a railway through it, even some sidings, but that's now long gone. About all that's visible of the railway now, from the ground anyway, are the road bridges, now re-used by the guided bus-way.

However, it seems one abandoned goods van remains, hidden deep in fenced-off allotments. Not much of the original body remains - but then it must have been a shed for at least 60 years.

The evening was more pleasant. It was the other school's ball so it was J's turn to dress up.

Settled down to an episode of Foyle's War. Michael Kitchen is always a pleasure to watch.
