The loneliness of the long distance pathmaker

Scottish Natural Heritage are improving one of the heavily used paths on the Sands of Forvie Reserve. The lone man doing the job has an awful lot of digging and filling to do!

The rain started again last night, with a vengeance. The "extra" shows the new water feature in the back garden. Thankfully we have been spared from any flooding but the water table and the ground surface now coincide. Soggy, soggy, soggy!
