Hedge with a hair cut!

I'm always on the look out for something different to blip .... it would be so easy to have a daily blip of the birds on the loch or flowers in nearby gardens ...... today I have banned both!

L and I had a walk in Pollok Park this morning, in rather damp conditions, particularly underfoot! As we walked round the side of Pollok House I spotted this lovely beech hedge which had recently been given a substantial trim.

In a few weeks time the old leaves will have fallen and the new ones will gradually unfurl to reveal a beautiful coppery green leaf.
