Five Rise locks, Bingley

This is the view from the top of the 'Five Rise' locks at Bingley. They are one of the most interesting features on the Leeds - Liverpool canal.
It is the steepest flight of locks in the UK and rises by just under 60 feet.
You can see the tall chimney of the Damart factory (famous for its 'thermolactyl' thermal clothing) in the distance.

Just below this flight of locks, and adjacent to the Damart factory is it's smaller sister flight, the Bingley 3 rise. (see extra)
