One of the praying mantis nymphs on the curry plant has moved up a grade, leaving its old skin behind. The empty skin (exuvia) fascinates me. There are the familiar details in the segmented body, spines on the front legs, the clear windows that covered the eyes, and even the antennae. How does the nymph climb out of its antennae, leaving such a fine hair?
