A Day Worth Recording

By Cheeseminer

Yellow Bucket Day

Like a Red Letter Day, but with more cobbles.

At some point in the past, I'm guessing when the services connections were renewed, the lifted cobbled area wasn't replaced with very much skill, thereby creating a couple of substantial mud jumps for anyone approaching the Coach House.  Today one of those got relaid, and the other set for tomorrow.

Also today, the stonemasons rebuilt the Mlavern stone wall by the pillar, Ian the 'leccy viewed a couple of jobs, and a guy arrived to replace a blown double-glazing pane.  Later this week we've plumbing, wall restoration, car park extension and quite probably other trades.

I thought we weren't doing that this year.
