Necreous Dawn

Nacreous (comparative more nacreous, superlative most nacreous). Of, or resembling nacre (mother of pearl).

These nacreous clouds high in the stratosphere above the dawning over Lambay Island. I had never known of these clouds before yesterday..... Was delighted to get a phone call to let me know they were in the sky again this morning. Early morning calls can be great....Just saying
