Pure transition

Pure transition is the theme for today's Mono Monday, hosted and set by MrsLinda. It's Lunar New Year's Day today, the first day of the Year of the Monkey, that's transition certainly. In Chinese tradition people will decorate their homes with Spring branches, pussy willow branches are great signs of the Spring coming and their soft white catkins are definitely pure looking. So this is my offering for today's Mono Monday, the Steiff monkey belonging to one of the sons is proud to be a part of this image.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments, stars and even a fave on yesterday's nuthatches ! Of course the first thing I saw this morning was one of the squirrels on the window sill while the monkey and tulip were still standing on our side of the window, see extra !
