Lost in Thought

An exercise in frustration

Gill's laptop needs a new battery which shouldn't be too difficult to replace if only we could get the back off the case!  I had loaned my set of precision screwdrivers to our son when he was sorting out his PC(s) for university and each time one of us wants to fix something the other one has them!  I bought a cheap set in Halfords this morning but, of course, they don't quite fit, and not wanting to risk rounding out the slots it is probably best to wait until I can use the better ones.

Seeing these via the macro lens I think that is probably the right decision!

Yesterday's Camera Club session was much more interesting.  Our speaker was one of the teachers at Princethorpe college where he teaches  the As and A2 Photography courses, along with mathematics and physics. Anyone under 18 has probably never known life without cameras built into mobile phones, so it was fascinating to hear how he gets around the preconceptions and what is in the syllabus.
