Waiting for Elizabeth

Well it doesn't take much to get Newie worked up.  The Queen Elizabeth had it's maiden voyage into Newcastle and you would have thought we had never seen a cruise ship before  with all the hullabaloo that went on.  A 4 gun salute, and half of Newie lining the foreshore.  As someone said, it is just a bunch of holiday makers - what was all the fuss about.  The mayor had a special lunch with the captain and crew while the passengers were all off seeing the sights of Newie.  Well at least it didn't wash up on Nobbys beach.  Now that would have been a tourist attraction!
