Snow returns.

Overnight snow on the distant hills. But for an hour in the late morning the light was quite good. Taken from Beachwood Reserve (Cumbria Wildlife Trust).

Ravens nest in the tops of the tree in the foreground but I have not yet succeeded in getting a photograph of them.

I was also pleased to find that the wild green hellebore (Helleborus viridis) is well through and flowers of the Petasites, which appear before the leaves, are showing.
