Ben Lomond in winter

Winter  on the Scottish mountains with  Ben Lomond covered in snow.

We've got some very cold weather but no snow.

Meanwhile I have had  request from  GirlGuiding Cymru in Wales for some photographs I took  in the 1950s for an exhibition in the National Library to celebrate the Girl Guides centenary.  Nothing unusual in that except the photos ( used in my book The Children of Craigynos) show girls making a fire and cooking sausages on the balcony of a childrens TB sanatorium.  This was long before the days of Health and Safety....see extra photo.
I was about 12 years of age at the time and I had been given a box Brownie camera.
