Spotlight

I went for a short walk this morning. There is a walkthrough that goes from Church Lane to Cottage Lane; alongside this path is a very old metal fence. I noticed these two anomalies along the way. Who created this metal ring, and why, and this growth that's wrapped itself around one of the metal stakes.

This afternoon we went to the cinema, Silver Screen, to see Spotlight, the excellent film about a team of reporters on the Boston Globe who exposed the extent of the Catholic priest child abuse in the Boston area based on real life events in 2001.
