Mam Tor

Plans for a lovely panoramic shot of the scenery from the top of a big hill in Derbyshire were scuppered by the weather. Almost as soon as we set off, the rains started to come down, and down, and down.... and we were drenched by the time we got to the top of Mam Tor. Even the waterproof boots leaked in so I had wet feet. Actually, every bit of me was soggy!

We ended up getting a bit lost, as the printout of the walk got wet and the ink ran so we couldn't read the instructions properly.... but it was still a fun walk. It was very good to get to the hotel afterwards though, and have a hot shower and big cup of tea and put on dry clothes.
