A view from St Swithin

Trossachs Weekend

Am spending the weekend in the Trossachs doing some walking . We've been blessed with fantastic weather - sunny days with crystal clear visibility and clear tops .
As a professed Munro Bagger its refreshing and a bit sobering to find there are lots of smaller hills that are far more interesting than bashing up hills just as they are over 3000ft. This is the view from the top of Ben Venue near Aberfoyle . Its about 5 hours up and down on good paths ( though a bit muddy ) . The view from the top is looking towards Callander. The hill was busy with many Glaswegian and Ayrshire accents on show .
