Cherry Blossom Time

I coaxed blipper WRPerry to go with me this morning for sunrise at the Cherry Blossoms and we were not disappointed.  It was perfect.  Most of my long exposures left much to be desired, and I am still trying to figure out what went wrong. This one, however,  made me happy.  

The blossoms are out early this year and are expected to only be at peak for 2 days instead of 4.  We definitely picked the right day, because not one petal had fallen and all the blossoms were pristine and perfect.  I hope to go back tomorrow afternoon but expect it will be mobbed.
