Back home after a fantastic few days out east - Dalkey to be precise which is a rather elegant suburb of Dublin. We were staying with friends who were house-sitting. A fantastic location and we have been everywhere, explored little beaches, gazed down mountains into deep lakes, taken tea at Powerscourt, marvelled at New Grange, stood on the top of the Hill of Slane where St Patrick lit the Paschal Fire and upset the heathen chieftains, visited a beautiful and totally unexpected little cemetery full of German soldiers, and eaten extremely well!

And here is Chirp, very pleased to see us back and helping with the bramble clearing - I swear they've doubled since I've been away.
