Portrait of 'Winter'

The Mono Monday challenge today has the theme - PORTRAIT - but - I woke up this morning to WINTER !  so have stretched the theme a little ( a lot ).  What a shock.  Rain and high winds had been forecast but not snow.  Did not last all that long but came down really heavily.  Once it had turned to rain, within an hour all the snow had gone.  Anyone who had a Bank Holiday lie-in would not believe there had been any snow at all. Couldn't miss the chance of photographing the sight that greeted me, so forgive me Trisharooni for stretching the MM remit.
