Storm Katie

Storm Katie ripped through the South East last night and whilst the wind has dropped somewhat it was still extremely difficult to walk along the sea front for long. Thankfully the tide was in making it impossible to go on the beach with Dog, as I'm sure if I had thrown the ball for him, it would have gone miles!

Mr L and I are off to Wales for a few days tomorrow, taking in a couple of castles on the way to visiting my aunt.

My picture today is of Mum on her wedding day. It is almost two years since she left us, and I miss her every day. it is because my parents wanted to leave their children something that we have been able to buy our lovely bungalow and my biggest regret is that Mum never got to see it. She would be so happy that we have it, and would have loved it here.

So, a bit of a cheat for the MonoMonday challenge, but it evoked some lovely memories.
