Hamburg Harbour

This is the view from the Maritime Museum. It was a bit of a rainy morning - but this is the moment when the sun started to come out. This is the view towards the Greenpeace Building. 

The Maritime Museum was completely huge - 10 floors, all full of model ships. There was a floor for navy ships, one for cruise and pleasure boats, one for research vessels, etc... Unfortunately you have to leave to get lunch, so we didn't spend as long as we might otherwise have done. 

We went across to the Chocolate Museum after lunch, but you have to join a tour, but it was all in German, so in the end we went to the Spice Museum, which was small, but lovely. There was even a massive spice emporium shop next door.
