Podcast Thwarted

Almost threw my laptop out of the window tonight as my Skype just wasn't playing ball when trying to podcast. After it took far too long to update (5 mins left, my butt!) it still didn't work, and it turned out for no reason at all, Skype had reset itself to my original settings, meaning it wasn't recognising my headset as a playback device. GAH.
