Mono Monday - 117 - The Environment

I really struggled to come up with an idea for this challenge.  The word that kept coming into my head was recycling.  So I decided to go with it.  This is part of the leaflet that comes through the door every year from our local council, which on the face of it is excellent. However the logic escapes me because we cannot separate our recycling, it all goes into one wheelie bin, including newspapers, which is then tipped with all of the others into a refuse lorry. Admittedly it is collected separately from the household waste, but surely all the recycling in together is going to cross contaminate the items. especially as I am sure not everyone washes the baked beans cans and the bottles. Perhaps it's just me, as no one else seems to find it strange.  Rant over.
Thanks to davidc for hosting this thought provoking challenge.
