The moron ...

... has been oxidised yet again.

Unless somebody can convince me that Harrogate has been moved a mile or several West into Cumbria.

Or, for that matter, explain how they can:-
be, simultaneously,
"Delicious Yorkshire Sausages"
AND
"Original Cumberland Sausages"
at one and the same time?

For "None of the above" read "None of the below".
Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)
Protected Geographical Indication (PGI)
Traditional Speciality Guaranteed (TSG)

If it's good enough for a Cornish Nasty what the !@£$%^& is wrong with our bangers earning the same status?

And, while I'm still in full throated MUTTER, ...
Who decided, and WHEN, that curling them around for cooking/serving/eating, as seen on the butchers' display, (due to them being most easy to access and lift the required amount with little or no disruption to said display) was "Traditional"?

I managed to survive nearer 70 years than 60 before I ever saw a "Traditional Ring" of Cumberland sausage on a plate and I must have eaten hundreds of yards of the stuff - if not miles.
