We want some more silage!

The cows are ready for some more silage in their feeder as their grass is running out in the paddock. Unfortunately these are barren cows and have found to be empty by the vet on several occasions although having run with the bull for months. In due course they will be culled which is very painful for us but we can't keep all the animals as pets for ever after. Luckily one of them in this group was found to be in calf so she has escaped!

A sunny afternoon and N and I massacred the beech hedge round the garden which had grown completely out of control. It is brilliant being able to see some more of the view again!
