A big adventure

This is what this ladies Great Uncle thought as well as his mates as they volunteered to fight for their Country. This lady laid her poppy at the remembrance cross of her Great Uncle who was killed at Passchendaele. Today marks the Centenary of ANZAC day, where all Australians and New Zealanders remember the Men and Women who died and served in the Great War and and All conflicts there after.
My Father spent 3 continuous years on the Front in Indonesia and he said A soldiers life is not sacrificed it is taken. My extra's include a Fly Over from the Aero Club, A girl running among the crosses and the Unknown Warrior who is still serving his Country by being placed in front of all the other crosses. He was returned to New Zealand on Nov 6th 2004. Lest we forget, written and sung by my Niece Anna. FYI the dead and wounded New Zealanders from World War One equated to about 10% of New Zealand's population
