Black & white films

I was keen to time today's walk for after the rain and before the work.

It took far too long to stop raining so it was a quick dash up to the lower reservoir and back once it had reduced to just spitting.  I was glad I waited - it was too warm for a waterproof.

Charlie Chaplin was a mediocre success the other night - we both made it to the end, chuckled regularly, admired the political undertones that you don't pick up as a child, but concluded we wouldn't invest in a box set!
