Rain Again

For the second day in a row we are experiencing rain. Today's was less intense, so I still managed to ride my bicycle into the market for a bit of needed shopping. While there, the rain returned, of course, so I waited under cover on the side of the street until the hardest downpour had passed. These two discarded bright red tomatoes caught my eye. I captured a couple of images, but they were plenty dull (go figure, overcast day). I had just learned how to make isolated tonal adjustments using curves during my online Photoshop seminar and gave it a try. The resulting photo (here) was much more pleasing, greater contrast better color saturation in both the puddle and tomato.
