Baby Buddhas's Hand

This little fruit is about as long as my thumbnail, and just beginning to develop on the tree. I hope it will turn yellow, as it is a citron, smelling gently of lemon and vanilla. I've seen the fruit grow as big as my head, or stay small enough to fit in my palm. There are several babies; I go out and check them everyday, trying to learn the pattern of their development.
