Winter Vegetables

Today I went to a community fundraiser that went on a lot longer than I expected. By the time I arrived home it was almost dark and I hadn’t taken any photos. My first thought was to get in vegetables for my dinner. Here they are, captured with my phone. The pak-choi I grew in a container in the greenhouse and the carrots in a big tub outdoors. The carrot roots are not tidy, perhaps because of the organic potting mix they grew in. Still, it is great to have fresh vegetables in winter. There are leeks in another tub too.
