We spent part of the afternoon at the National Museum of American History where one of the most popular exhibits (second to the First Lady’s Inaugural gowns) is called “American Stories” where you will find such familiar things as Edith and Archie Bunker’s chairs, the Ruby shoes from the Wizard of Oz,  one of Jim Henson’s Elmo puppets, to name a few.  This is a pair of Mohammed Ali’s signed boxing gloves which I chose for my blip tonight, in light of his recent death.  I was working with the Lensbaby for a class assignment, so the focus is very selective. Probably the most notable thing about this image is that the ISO was 12,800!

In addition, I have added an extra of Prince’s guitar, who also recently passed away.  Again you will find the selective focus of the Lensbaby, which I haven’t quite mastered yet, but I’m working on it.  Both shots were taken through glass displays with a fair amount of reflection and I don't think this was the right lens for either of these shots but it is what I had. Anyway, you get the idea, I hope.
